Get away to the Smoky Mountains

Get away from the rat race and go back in time 30 years. Life here in Franklin is like the life your parents talked about. People will hear your car arm its alarm system and they look at you strangely. Some here have never locked their homes and may not even have a lock on the door. It's great. We have great views of the surrounding mountains, whether it be Wayah Bald, Cowee Mountain, Standing Indian, Wooten Ridge or any of the other mountains. Rivers and streams are everywhere. Industry is limited - Cat has a small plant here, also Duo-Tech (avionics), Drake Enterprises (taxes) and Whitley (car products). Seasons are kind, no harsh winters, limited hot times in the summer. But the fall and spring are incredible. Come join us in Franklin and enjoy life and see all of God's glory He has given us to enjoy.
